mobile phones on planes

by bbbernarddd @ 2008-03-27 - 14:32:00

In the news today we are to be allowed to use mobile phones on planes. I've deliberately left mine on a number of times and there has never been an announcement from the captain saying "somebody's left their phone on". Whenever a smoker gets caught in the toilet they make a fuss about it. I don't reckon our phones are now, or have ever been the cause of a crashed aeroplane.

Absolutely...maybe they'll even let us use them in petrol stations because again to my knowledge there's never been an exploding petrol station caused by the microwaves from a mobile phone.
